Historical facts such as: the history of Smithville, early records tracing it back to 1737 owned by John Smith; the wreck of the Schooner Weymouth; Richard Somers and "Somers Point;" many old churches and cemeteries, such as Head of the River Church, the oldest church in Atlantic County, 1792 in Tuckahoe; the oldest one room school house, in Gravelly Run, built late in the 19th century, and in use until 1926; indian and stage coach trails; West's Mystery at Catawba, and much more.
