Christopher W. Graham (1893-1929) read children stories at 7:15 becoming known as Uncle WIP.He made a place for himself in the hearts of children in the Delaware Valley and across the country. Castle broadcast sits high on top of a big white cloud; built of solid gold and diamonds, surrounded by a wall of Moonstones set in silver. Two fierce dragons guard it's gate. The lives Uncle Wip with his four companions; Frowny Fairy Godmother; Genial Giant; Black Browed Pirate and Big Brown Bear. After sundown every evening Uncle Wip tells the children down on earth all the adventures that he and his friends at Castle Broadcast have had. Twenty one wonderful fairy tales, 7 full page color plates; color frontispiece and 43 black and white page illustrations. This is a scarce very good of these wonderful stories told on this "old radio" broadcast. Green cloth boards and spine, color panel illustration. Mild rubbing of spine ends. Page 57 closed 1 inch tear to lower edge. All else fine.
